About her
First time ever, so not sure what to say but I’ll have a go. I’m on my own now and life can be dull yet I know if I’m brave it needn’t stay that way.
I like reading - novels, newspapers, anything and everything can spark my interest and then I’ll go and explore the subject to find out more about whatever it is.
I like to get out and about and often meet up for a walk or coffee and a chat with a friend. I think friends would say I’m quite easygoing and I rarely turn down a chance to meet up for a meal or trip out.
I’m active but not sporty. I used to love dancing and would like the opportunity to dance again.
I love music of all types (well I don’t really get jazz but could probably be persuaded) and am a great audience but can’t play a note myself.
I am very practical and have done up houses in the past, here and in France. I’m quite artistic in my own way and hope to get back to that soon.
I have a wee granddaughter who is an absolute joy and I look after her a couple of days a week so I’m not free to travel the world right now. But that’s ok - I am generally content with life’s small pleasures yet can’t deny they are sometimes better shared.

I’m open to meeting all sorts of people and making new friends. While shared values are important I also think friends can be very different and still have a great relationship.
