First thoughts - still work in progress !
I think that I’m honest,caring,have a sense humour ( off beat and black at times) practical,down to earth, hard working, have integrity, kind, gentle, independent, self sufficient, trustworthy, calm. I find being relatively well organised helpful - but don’t always succeed and still have “ blond days” and “ senior moments” which however frustrating I find them still make me giggle.
Likes music (especially live ) the arts, crafts, woodwork, stained glass, gardening, nature, animals and being near water (be it river, loch or sea ) driving and motorsport; visiting cities, galleries, museums - exploring interesting places and appreciating beautiful things. Fond of a dram of single malt on a cold evening.
I’m more introverted than extrovert.
I enjoy learning and have lots of hobbies ( indoors and outdoors) - I like to be busy. I enjoy cooking and experimenting- sometimes successfully- occasionally not so...
I’m generally happier in the countryside / outdoors than indoors, prefer quiet to noise, wonder at nature and the natural world and adore my hound. I live a fairly simple life and am generally content with my lot.
I dislike dishonesty, bad manners, game playing and selfishness. I try to see best in people and situations.
Attending sporting events, concerts, festivals ... going to the beach (especially in wild weather), walking and taking time to appreciate the surroundings, sitting by the river discussing serious or silly subjects .... creating culinary delights with a glass of something nice and music on would all be so much better with a partner in crime .... as would so many other things - sharing with and caring for that special man.....
