About him
The core of me is upbeat, pleasant and friendly. I always strive to be thoughtful and caring. I like to be in harmonious surroundings doing exciting things.
I try to make the most of any situation and enjoy the company of people with a good sense of humour. Friendly banter; easy-flowing conversation is essential to enjoying time with anyone. I'm fit, active and love the outdoors, together with long walks in the countryside.
Equally, I like to relax with good TV, films, music, theatre and books. I'm young at heart and hope to stay that way, sometimes the party's life and soul, but also happy to be quiet, reflective, and spend time on my own. Music is a great love of mine. I particularly like blues, soul, R &B and rock.
I've been lucky enough to take early retirement and love to travel both home and abroad. So continuing to explore the world is relatively high on my list of plans.
I have recently completed my first book and found it to be a very fulfilling experience. I hope to have it published later this year.
